2. Accounts
You must be 18 or older to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abusive behaviour, or attempt to circumvent platform restrictions.
3. Jobseeker terms
By uploading a CV, you confirm you have the right to share the data it contains and you grant Trawlr a limited licence to process it for the purposes of providing the service, including analysis by AI systems. This licence ends when you delete your CV or your account. Trawlr does not sell your CV or personal data to third parties.
The recruiter visibility feature is strictly opt-in. By enabling it, you consent to verified recruiters on the platform viewing your career profile and insights. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Trawlr uses AI to generate career insights, CV scores, role recommendations, and other content. This content is provided for informational purposes only and does not constitute professional career or legal advice. You should exercise your own judgement when acting on AI-generated suggestions.
4. Recruiter terms
Recruiter accounts are invite-only during the current trial period. Access may be revoked at Trawlr's discretion.
Trawlr provides tools that can retrieve publicly available job listings from third-party websites and ATS platforms. By using these features, you agree that you are solely responsible for ensuring your use complies with the terms of service of any third-party websites from which data is retrieved, you will not use these features to scrape websites that explicitly prohibit automated access, you will not export or repurpose data obtained through Trawlr's lead generation tools for commercial purposes outside the platform, and you will not use these features to target individuals for unsolicited contact in breach of UK GDPR or the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Trawlr accepts no liability for your use of data obtained through these features.
Where you access candidate profiles through the recruiter portal, you agree to use candidate data only for legitimate recruitment activities, not store candidate personal data outside of Trawlr beyond what is necessary for a specific recruitment process, and comply with UK GDPR in your handling of any personal data accessed through the platform.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use Trawlr to post, transmit, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent; attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another user's account; use automated tools to access the platform in a manner that places unreasonable load on our infrastructure; misrepresent your identity or credentials; or circumvent any technical restrictions or security measures.
6. Intellectual property
Trawlr and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Trawlr Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Trawlr's platform or content without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any content you upload, including your CV.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trawlr Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or failure to secure employment or candidates.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Trawlr in the 12 months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Service availability
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the platform. We may suspend access for maintenance, security reasons, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance.
